Love Center serves 291 families in September
Millersburg nonprofit distributes more than 66,000 pounds of food with help from churches, businesses and individual donors.
In September the Love Center served 291 families for a total of 395 visits and received food and cash donations from local churches, businesses, organizations and individuals.

A total of 291 different families came to the Love Center during September. Some families came in more than once, making a grand total of 395 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 55,408 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 11,363 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 758.
Food and cash donations from churches and ministries included Love INC, Martins Creek Mennonite Church, St. John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St. John’s Women’s Ministry of Millersburg, St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Millersburg and Zion Reformed Church of Winesburg.
Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs included Ace Hardware, Berlin Natural Bakery, Coblentz Chocolates, Der Dutchman, Emma Cates Crust Bakery, Farmerstown Auction, Hillcrest Orchard, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, Millersburg American Legion, Mt. Hope Country Health Store, OSU Extension, Sleep Inn of Mt. Hope, Walmart of Millersburg, Weaver Produce and Winesburg Meats.
Food and cash donations from individuals included Michelle Alexander, Melvin Angle, Ray Casdorph, Nancy Coblentz, Blake Day, Rachel Day, Debra Eckelberry, Matt Feikert, Frank Gnizak, Joanne Hunter, Sue Kauffman, Mariel Mast, Betty Mullet, Ricky Seymour and seven anonymous.
Cash contributions for the general fund can be sent to P.O. Box 31, Millersburg, OH 44654. Food donations can be dropped off at the Love Center at 1291 Massillon Road, Suite A, Millersburg, any Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
