Uniontown Lions host 40th reverse raffle
Event on March 21 at Uniontown Community Park supports local charities with $3,700 in prizes.
The Uniontown Lions Club will celebrate a milestone this month with its 40th annual Reverse Raffle, an evening of food, prizes and community support.
The drawing will take place Saturday, March 21, at Uniontown Community Park, 3696 Apollo St. NW, Uniontown.
Doors open at 6 p.m., followed by a hors d’oeuvres and shrimp cocktail dinner at 7 p.m. The raffle drawing begins at 8 p.m. An open bar will be available beginning at 6 p.m., and the evening will also feature door prizes, raffle baskets, side boards and bingo.
Only 200 tickets will be sold for the event. The $75 ticket donation includes dinner and a chance at the raffle prizes.
The total payout is $3,700, including a $2,500 grand prize.
All proceeds from the evening will support Lions Club charities and the organization’s community service and outreach programs.
