Uniontown Lions Club supports Lake Township Historical Society

Donation will help support renovation of organization's new facility

The Lake Township Historical Society, founded in 1994, works to preserve the history of Lake Township.

Its mission is to collect and preserve oral and written history, as well as three-dimensional objects, for the community. The society maintains manuscripts, published materials, prints, photographs, audio and visual recordings and other historical items, along with objects and costumes of cultural significance.

At its meeting Wednesday, March 25, the Uniontown Lions Club donated $500 to the Lake Township Historical Society to support renovation of its new building.
