Stark Parks to hold ribbon-cutting for rebuilt Sippo Lake Trail bridge Nov. 21
Fire-damaged bridge restored with help from local organizations, volunteers, and donors
Stark Parks will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, to celebrate the reopening of the Sippo Lake Trail bridge at Sippo Lake Park, located behind the Exploration Gateway in Perry Township.
The bridge was damaged during a fire on March 25. Contractor Red Sun Construction LLC completed the reconstruction in mid-September.
Stark Parks will recognize community supporters who helped make the rebuilding possible, including The Home Depot Foundation and Team Depot, Friends of Stark Parks, Stark County Ski Club, Perry Rotary Club, Perry Grange, Kimble and several individual donors.
Stark Parks manages 15 parks, four lakes, four historic properties and more than 120 miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails, totaling over 6,800 acres of land. For more information, visit starkparks.com.
