Love Our Community, also known as LOC, is updating the Lake community on its efforts and asking for continued support for its programs as it celebrates its seventh year as a 501(c)(3) organization. LOC said it has been a blessing to serve the community.
The organization works to meet the unseen needs of community members and strives to connect people through resources and relationships to improve quality of life relationally, emotionally, physically and spiritually, while pursuing the highest good for one another. LOC provides stabilization housing, case management, pastoral counseling, services for domestic violence survivors and veterans, community meals and more.
Over the past seven years, with the generous support of community members and businesses through fundraising and donations, LOC has assisted domestic violence victims, veterans, and individuals struggling with homelessness and food insecurity. The organization has also provided immediate short-term housing, long-term housing, pastoral counseling and additional support services.
LOC’s next major community event is Men Who Cook, its largest fundraiser, which helps the organization continue its mission of supporting community members who may be silently struggling. Funds raised will increase LOC’s impact and help sustain its mission.
The organization is also seeking in-kind donations for its silent auction and sponsors for the event. Kelli Viscounte, LOC founder and CEO, said, “With great gratitude, will you consider financially supporting this event and help us continue to help more individuals in our community?”
Sponsorships and in-kind donations will be accepted through Feb. 6. With community support, LOC said it can continue raising awareness and helping those in need.

“Thank you for your generosity and taking the time to consider partnering with us,” Viscounte said. “Your sponsorship will help support LOC. Please plan to join us Feb. 10, 2026, for a fun, beautiful evening celebrating the impact of coming together over the last seven years while raising vital funds to sustain our mission to love our neighbors in need.”
