Lake Twp. zoning board approves variance request, sets Sept. 18 meeting
At a public hearing Aug. 28, the Lake Township Board of Zoning Appeals approved a request by applicants and property owners William and Vicki Zanella for an area variance for maximum accessory structure coverage at their property at 12308 Mogadore Ave. NW, located in a low-density residential (R-1) zone.
The next meeting of the Lake Township Board of Zoning Appeals will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Township Hall, 12360 Market Ave. N. All meetings are open to the public.
Consisting of five members and one alternate, all appointed by the Lake Township trustees, the board hears and decides appeals, authorizes variance requests and issues or revokes conditional zoning certificates. Those who wish to speak at BZA hearings are asked to take an oath or affirmation and state their name and address for the record. Decisions of the board are final but may be appealed to the Stark County Court of Common Pleas.
