Lake Township trustees voted to terminate a probationary Uniontown police officer following an executive session at an April 3 special meeting.

At a special meeting on the morning of April 3, Lake Township trustees recessed to executive session with the Uniontown police chief and legal counsel for consideration of a personnel matter and pending or imminent legal action.

After reconvening, they passed a resolution to terminate the probationary employment of Uniontown Police Officer Dylan Soisson, effective immediately.

Trustee Sue Grabowski was absent.

The next regular meeting of the Lake Township Board of Trustees will be held Monday, April 13, at 5 p.m. at the Lake Township Hall, 12360 Market Ave. North.
