Lake Township Trustees approve employment update, certify 2026 budget and expenditures
Board confirms full-time status for Captain Kevin Pierson, renews conservation agreement and approves over $516K in expenditures

The Lake Township Trustees held their rescheduled meeting on Nov. 5. At that time, there were two trustees on the board because Steven Miller had resigned on Oct. 31.
The board changed the effective date of full-time employment status for Uniontown Police Captain Kevin Pierson to Thursday, Nov. 6.
Trustees renewed the memorandum of understanding between the Stark Soil and Water Conservation District and Lake Township.
The board authorized the fiscal officer to certify to the county auditor the 2026 amounts and rates as determined by the Stark County Budget Commission.
The board approved total expenditures of $516,407.17.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at the township hall.

The next regular meeting of the Lake Township Trustees will be held on Monday, Nov. 24, at 5 p.m. at the Township Hall, 12360 Market Ave. North. All meetings are open to the public and available via live stream.
