B.J. Novak to kick off Stark Library author series Sept. 30
The “Office” star and bestselling author will appear at the Canton Palace Theatre to launch the library’s 11th annual series.
Stark Library will launch the 11th season of its Dr. Audrey Lavin Speaking of Books Author Series with an event featuring writer, actor and comedian B.J. Novak on Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Canton Palace Theatre, the library announced.
Novak is best known for his work on NBC’s Emmy Award-winning comedy The Office. He is also the author of the acclaimed books One More Thing and The Book with No Pictures, the latter of which spent two years on the New York Times Picture Book List and 34 weeks as the No. 1 seller in the country.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 11. Admission is free, but upgraded options are available. A gold ticket ($75) includes premium reserved seating, a meet-and-greet with Novak, and a signed copy of The Book with No Pictures. A silver ticket ($25) offers preferred seating and a signed copy but does not include the meet-and-greet. Limited free meet-and-greet passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival for general admission ticket holders.
The Speaking of Books series continues later this year with actress Marlee Matlin on Nov. 6, followed by astronaut Col. Terry Virts in March 2026 and Dancing with the Stars icon Derek Hough in April 2026.
