Scio VFD to host Night at the Races

The Scio Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual Night at the Races Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Scio Fire Hall, 318 W. Main St.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:45 p.m., and post time is 7 p.m.

Horses cost $20 and include admission for the horse owner and one guest. Food and beverages are included. If your horse wins, the payout is $25.

The event will also include food, a Chinese auction, raffles and a 50/50 drawing.

Those who do not purchase a horse may still attend. Admission at the door is $10 per person and includes food and beverages.
