Indian Creek announces homecoming events

Parade, football game, crowning and dance set for this weekend

This year’s queen candidates are Abbey Pendleton, left, Cheyenne Himelrick, Gabriella Boyuk, Riley Sadler, Aziah Ade and Brooklyn Evans.

Indian Creek High School will hold its annual homecoming game Friday when the Redskins take on Brooke High School at Kettlewell Memorial Stadium.

A parade will step off at 5:30 p.m. from Blessed Sacrament Church and proceed to the high school campus. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Last year’s homecoming queen, Lily McElroy, will crown this year’s queen during halftime. The selection will be made when one of the candidates chooses the odd-colored rose.

The homecoming dance will be held Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at the Mingo Junction Knights of Columbus Hall.
