Harrisville VFC gets new ambulance

Harrisville Volunteer Fire Company members Joel Rutan, left, John Rutan, Dan Duill, Chief Kipp Bowers, and EMS Captain Kubic show off their new ambulance, provided by Harrison County Commissioners and the ambulance replacement levy. This vehicle replaces a 2008 model, providing increased reliability that is crucial on emergency calls. It came equipped with a powered stair chair along with a cot and loading system, which will reduce the chance of injury to both patients and EMS providers. Harrisville extends thanks to all residents of Harrison County for their support and help in getting this ambulance.
