Harrison Central volleyball drops to 10th in OVAC IV-A standings
Huskies fall to 4-11 as Bellaire, St. Clairsville and Oak Glen lead conference rankings
As of Tuesday, Sept. 23, the Harrison Central varsity volleyball team has fallen from No. 8 to No. 10 in the OVAC IV-A standings. The Huskies, who have been on a recent losing skid, now hold a 4-11 record.
Bellaire sits atop the IV-A standings with a 12-1 record and an average of 65.85 points, totaling 856 game points. St. Clairsville is second at 13-1 with 806 points and a 57.57 average. Oak Glen follows in third at 13-3 with 904 points and a 56.50 average.
East Liverpool holds fourth place at 10-3 with 682 points (52.46 average), while Union Local is fifth at 11-4 with 762 points (50.80 average). Linsly, at 13-4, is sixth with 764 points and a 44.94 average.
Cambridge is seventh with a 7-8 record and 374 points (24.93 average). Buckeye Local stands eighth at 5-9 with 320 points (22.86 average). Indian Creek sits in ninth at 3-10 with 216 points (16.62 average).
Harrison Central follows in 10th with a 4-11 record, 224 points and a 14.93 average. Edison Local is 11th at 3-13 with 164 points (10.25 average). Weir High rounds out the rankings at 2-10 with 112 points and a 9.33 average.
