Dunkin’ Donuts will soon be headed to Cadiz
The drive to Wintersville for your Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and eats will soon be ending. Cadiz Mayor Kevin Jones announced that the city has reach an agreement with the company to construct the restaurant in the Cadiz business area on route 9 north. The exact location of the business will be in the vacant lot between Ormes Hardware and the Wendy’s Restaurant.
“In bringing this business to Cadiz, it is a fulfillment of the campaign promise to seek new businesses for the city,” said Jones. “We plan to see construction begin in approximately two months or at midsummer at the latest. This project is only the beginning of what we anticipate to obtain for Cadiz.”
The Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant will employ approximately 25 people, both full and part-time. It will accommodate service inside the facility and at two drive thru windows. One of the two drive thru windows will service customers that are navigating from off the highway, and the second window will service those who have called to order pick-up or have ordered by using the app. The seating capacity inside the restaurant will accommodate 32 consumers. The future Cadiz location of the Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant will be the 82nd such company service point to be completed.
The Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant food service is just as inviting as the coffee and breakfast menu. The overall attraction is just as inviting as one of their popular and ‘come on’ slogan that boasts: “Try our freshly crafted beverages, sandwiches, and snacks served in a variety of delicious flavors. Always made to order, just the way you like it!”
Jones went on saying, “Also, in keeping with my promise, additional plans to place a Mexican Restaurant in the St. John’s building that was once a Kentucky Fried/ Long John’s Silvers operation is in the works. I am happy to be working with the city administrator (Brandon Ludwig) on these projects. Ludwig has been a great help, and his assistance has been instrumental in opening these doors.”
