Chamber cuts ribbon at Dockside Bar & Grill
On Monday, the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce performed a ribbon cutting ceremony at the ‘Dockside Bar and Grill’. Dockside, through a management agreement with the Conservatory, will now operate the former Tappan Marina Restaurant. Dockside is part of the Buehler’s Company family of businesses.
Buehler’s Fresh Foods grocery store was founded in 1929 by E.L. (Ed) Buehler and his wife, Helen. Their line of store products includes Artisan bakery, beer, dairy, deli, grocery, meat, and general merchandise. After opening their first store in New Philadelphia, the Buehler family moved the business to Wooster in 1932, which is now the headquarters location. They soon opened a store near the northeast corner of Public Square. Buehler’s has 14 locations, which now they have included restaurants, and serve the North-Central part of Ohio.
“We are very excited to be part of this Tappan Lake location,” said Jen Hudson – Buehler’s Marketing Director. “We are just as excited over becoming part of this community. All of us look forward to serving the people of this beautiful county.”
The Buehler’s Company has approximately 2000 employees statewide. The new Tappan Lake operation employees 20.
