The varsity opener signaled a tense match, with regulation play ending in a 25-25 tie. The teams traded points in extra play until Buckeye pulled away to take the set 28-26.
In the second set, Harrison Central built an early six-point lead, but Buckeye stormed back to even the score and then move ahead. The Panthers closed it out 25-20.
The third set was all Buckeye. Once the Panthers jumped in front, they never looked back, sealing the sweep with a 25-11 victory.
