Ridgewood girls golf tops Indian Valley; Harstine medals with 34
Lady Generals win 188–224 on Sept. 2 at River Greens, while boys fall to Braves’ record-setting round.
The Ridgewood Lady Generals golf team defeated Indian Valley 188-224 on Sept. 2 at River Greens Golf Course. Par was 36, and the ladies played the river course.
Brynn Harstine was medalist of the match with a 34. She had four birdies, and Josie Stanton had one birdie. Kelly Corbett and Kendal Myers had personal records, and the Lady Generals celebrated their seniors.
Varsity scores for the Lady Generals were Brynn Harstine with 34, Jacey Hess with 48, Josie Stanton with 49, Zoe Martin with 57, Kendal Myers with 65 and Kelly Corbett with 73. The JV score for the Lady Generals was Audrey Tubbs with 66.
The Generals boys team battled against the Braves from Indian Valley on Sept. 2 at River Greens Golf Course. Indian Valley came away victorious with a school-record round of 141.
The Generals shot 201. Scoring for the Generals were Collier Surgenor with 45, Wade Thompson with 50, Kyle Johnson with 51, Grady Alan with 55, Conrad Robinson with 56 (not scored) and Aiden Mackenzie with 58 (not scored).
