Coshocton County Youth Leadership accepting applications for 2026-27
The CCYL program invites sophomores from all county high schools to apply by March 1 for leadership development during their junior year.
Coshocton County Youth Leadership, a Leadership Coshocton County and Coshocton Foundation program, is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 program year.
Coshocton County Youth Leadership develops leadership and communication skills in participants, increasing self-confidence while interacting with community leaders and youth from area high schools. Through this experience CCYL participants gain leadership skills while exploring Coshocton County’s resources, challenges and opportunities.
Sophomores apply now for participation during their junior year. Participation from all Coshocton County high schools is encouraged including Coshocton County Career Center, Coshocton Christian School and homeschool youth.
Program days are typically held the third Wednesday of the month; however, youth are encouraged to check the website for the latest calendar. Due to scheduling conflicts with students enrolled in post-secondary coursework, all applicants to CCYL are encouraged to check the latest program calendar online. The deadline to apply for the 2026-27 program year is Sunday, March 1.
Applications will be available during a series of high school recruitment sessions scheduled in early winter 2026. Executive Director Betsy Gosnell will be at area high schools during lunch on the following dates: Thursday, Jan. 29 at Ridgewood High School; Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Coshocton High School; and Wednesday, Feb. 4 at River View High School. Additionally, applications are available from area high school guidance offices or online at www.leadershipcoshoctoncounty.org/application-youth/.
For more information email Gosnell at lead@coshoctonfoundation.org.
Coshocton County Youth Leadership is a program of the Coshocton Foundation and receives support from Leadership Coshocton County, the Simpson Family Donor Advised Fund, the Dunmire Family Fund, Frontier Power Community Connection and River View Schools Legacy Fund.
