Minerva’s Roxy Theatre to show live-action ‘Grinch’ Dec. 13
Enjoy the holiday classic on the big screen
Minerva’s Roxy Theatre will present the live-action “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” starring Jim Carrey, Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. Families are invited to bring the little ones and enjoy the holiday classic on the big screen, and if they’re lucky, they might even spot the Grinch himself.
Tickets are $5 for children and $8 for adults. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. After the film, guests are welcome to stay and take a picture with the Grinch. The evening offers a festive, family-friendly way to kick off the holiday season with a bit of Whoville magic at the Roxy.
Minerva’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect, and patrons may purchase beverages in official DORA cups from the Normandy Inn, Stoney Inn, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant and Sandy Springs Brewing Company and carry them throughout the designated area, including into the Roxy. Concessions will also be available for purchase at the theater.
For information about movies and upcoming events, contact the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce at 330-868-7979 or email nathan.meadows@minervachamber.org.
The Roxy Theatre is located at 120 N. Market St. in Minerva’s historic downtown and is wheelchair accessible.
