Carroll SWCD accepting orders for annual tree, fish sale
Fish orders are due March 20 and tree orders are due by Friday, April 3
The Carroll Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting orders for its annual tree and fish sale.
The tree sale includes a variety of trees and shrubs such as blueberries, thornless blackberries, apple and peach trees, pawpaw, arborvitae, white oak, black walnut, shagbark hickory and New Jersey tea. Orders are due by Friday, April 3, and quantities are limited.
Tree orders may be picked up at the SWCD office Thursday, April 9, and Friday, April 10, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The spring fish sale includes species such as largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, yellow perch, hybrid bluegill, redear sunfish, black crappie, fathead minnows, grass carp and Japanese koi.
Fish orders are due March 20. Pickup will be at 9 a.m. Friday, March 27, at the new location, 103 Firehouse Lane, Hopedale in Harrison County.
