Wayne-Holmes students invited to video contest on life issues
Pro-Life Video Contest offers cash prizes; entries due by March 26.
Wayne-Holmes Right to Life is now accepting registrants for its first Pro-Life Video Contest.
The contest is for seventh grade through 12th grade students from Wayne and Holmes counties. Participants create a two- to five-minute video that addresses at least one of these life issues: abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, assisted suicide or adoption from a pro-life perspective. Video style can include personal testimony, animation, spoken word, documentary or something entirely new.
Winners will receive $250 for first place, $150 for second place and $100 for third place. All submissions will be sent to National Right to Life to compete for its $1,000 prize.
Winners also will be welcome at the Pregnancy Care Center banquet in October. Selected videos will be played at Wayne-Holmes Right to Life's booth at the Wayne County Fair in September.
All submissions must be received by March 26. Send submissions to MeghanRMillea@gmail.com. Text Meghan Millea at 330-931-2391 to confirm receipt of the video and to ask any questions in advance.
Local judging will take place March 28.
