Orrville Public Library plans variety of events for community
Programs feature book sale, workshops and interactive activities
Orrville Public Library will host a variety of upcoming programs including a mystery event, book sale, craft session, technology workshop, StoryWalk and seed exchange.

Orrville Public Library announced a lineup of upcoming programs and events for adults and the community.
The library’s Mystery Monday series will conclude at 6 p.m. Monday, April 20 with an interactive mystery challenge, where participants will work together to solve the case. Attendees also will be invited to share suggestions and help plan future Mystery Monday gatherings. No registration is required.
The Friends of the Orrville Public Library will host a used book sale in the lower-level meeting room from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 24; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25. Proceeds from the sale will support updates and improvements to the children’s department.
Individuals age 16 and older are invited to attend Coffee & Crafts at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 7 at the Orrville YMCA, 1801 Smucker Road. Participants will paint kindness rocks to take home or hide for others to find. All supplies will be provided for this free event. Registration will begin April 23 and can be completed through the library’s website calendar at www.orrville.lib.oh.us or by calling the information desk at 330-683-1065.
The library will host a free Bits & Bytes session titled Demystifying AI at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12. A partner from Massillon Public Library will lead the discussion, helping participants better understand artificial intelligence and how it is used in everyday life. Registration is required and will begin April 28 through the website calendar or by calling the information Desk.
The 2026 StoryWalk season has begun with the featured book “Spring Is Here” by Will Hillenbrand. Sponsored by the Orrville Public Library Friends, the StoryWalk is located off Ella Street, east of the dog park, and is accessible from the Rails to Trails bike path and walking trail. A new book will be featured each month.
The library also is offering a free, self-serve Seed Exchange Display through the end of May. Community members may donate seeds or pick up new varieties to try. Donations without original packaging should be placed in a labeled resealable bag with the seed variety, growing notes and year.
