Orrville Community Chorus sets rehearsals for 80th ‘Messiah’ on Dec. 7

Sunday practices begin Nov. 2 at Central Christian School; 7 p.m. performance in Kidron welcomes singers high school and older, no auditions required

The Orrville Community Chorus announced the rehearsal schedule for the chorus’ annual performance of “Messiah” by G.F. Handel.

The Orrville Community Chorus announced the rehearsal schedule for the chorus' 80th annual performance of "Messiah" by G.F. Handel to be presented Sunday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at Central Christian School in Kidron.

Rehearsals will begin Sunday, Nov. 2. Subsequent Sunday rehearsals will be held Nov. 9, 16, 23 and 30. Rehearsals will take place from 1:50-3:30 p.m. at Central Christian School. The dress rehearsal will be Saturday, Dec. 6 from 8:45-11:30 a.m.

Anyone high school through adult is welcome to sing with the chorus. There are no auditions, but it is requested new members have previous experience singing choral music.
