Fall Festival brings art, music and family fun to Wayne Center for the Arts Oct. 4
Wooster event features live performances, artisan vendors, food trucks and hands-on creative activities for all ages.
Celebrate the season and the local arts community at Wayne Center for the Arts' annual Fall Festival on Oct. 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event, held at 237 S. Walnut St. in Wooster, promises a day filled with creativity, music, food and more for all ages.
"Our Fall Festival is one of our favorite ways to invite the community into the arts center," Executive Director Sara Starr Brink said. "This year’s event is packed with activities — from live music to mini art classes — making it a perfect day to explore, create and celebrate together."
Guests can attend hands-on mini classes designed for all ages including clay pumpkin making and creative mask decorating. Visitors also will find Oma Gourd food truck, sweet treats from Erie Cotton Candy Company, a bounce house for kids, over 25 artisan vendors and live art demonstrations.
From noon to 2 p.m., the Ezra Jeffery Band will perform, filling the lawn with a mix of original music and crowd favorites.
Throughout the day there will be student performances including dance numbers and instrumental solos that showcase WCA’s students.
Inside the arts center, visitors can explore the "Best of 2025" exhibit, presented by the Ohio Designer Craftsmen, featuring a juried collection of the finest contemporary works by artists from across the state.
“Visitors will also have the chance to preview our exciting plans for the upcoming Arts Park,” Brink said. “It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the creativity happening at WCA and build excitement for what’s coming next.”
