Burning River Brass to return for annual holiday concert at Wooster United Methodist Church
Free Dec. 20 performance and Dec. 24 candlelight service highlight WUMC’s Christmas season, with offerings supporting OHuddle and Lift Her Up.
A Wooster holiday tradition will continue as Burning River Brass returns to Wooster United Methodist Church Saturday, Dec. 20 at 1:30 p.m.
This free concert is first come, first served until capacity is reached. Doors will open at 12:45 p.m. A freewill offering will benefit OHuddle, a local one-on-one mentorship program, and Lift Her Up, a scholarship program for female refugee students at Africa University.
WUMC also will host a Christmas Eve candlelight service Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. in the church’s sanctuary. The service will include traditional Christmas carols, the story of Jesus’ birth and a candlelighting as the WUMC choir leads the congregation in singing “Silent Night.”
Wooster United Methodist Church is located at 243 N. Market St., Wooster. Parking is available behind the church. Enter through the glass doors.
