The Medina Bike Rodeo on May 6 will offer free, family-friendly activities focused on bike safety, including races, obstacle courses and inspections at Ray Mellert Park.

Through partnerships with the city of Medina, Eddy’s Cycle Shop and the Kiwanis Club of Medina, Medina City Schools brings the Bike Rodeo to the community to promote bike safety while creating a memorable event for local youth. The evening will feature bicycle relay races, obstacle courses, bike safety tips, on-site bicycle inspections and registration, raffle prizes, and a free water bottle giveaway while supplies last.

Music will be provided by The Music Men, and food will be available during the event while supplies last.

“The Medina Bike Safety Rodeo is designed to keep students and families engaged in safe biking practices while fostering a strong sense of community,” said Amy Busby, director of community relations for Medina City Schools. “It’s a fun, hands-on way to reinforce important safety skills and bring people together.”

This event would not be possible without the support of sponsors including Allstate Maureen Dabbiere Agency, Armstrong, Discount Drug Mart, Mellion Orthodontics, Serpentini Chevrolet of Medina, Sweets & Geeks, A Cupcake A Day, Courthouse Pizzeria, Cool Beans and Trek.
