Medina City Schools is accepting enrollment for the 2026-27 kindergarten class. Families are encouraged to begin the registration process early to ensure a smooth start to their child’s educational journey.

To be eligible for kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year, children must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 19. The age requirement reflects changes in Ohio law outlined in House Bill 114, which requires a child to be 5 years old by the first day of school to begin kindergarten.
