Medina High School seniors Nathan Fischer and Brenna Koski have been named Kiwanis February Students of the Month.
Nathan is known for his integrity, leadership and willingness to volunteer. He consistently leads by example and is recognized for his compassion and adaptability within the school community.

His academic schedule includes Advanced Placement, College Credit Plus and honors coursework. He earned the Medina High School Academic Distinction Award, summa cum laude, during his freshman, sophomore and junior years. Nathan is a member of the National Honor Society, HUDDLE and Hope Squad.
Athletically, Nathan is a four-year member of the varsity cross country team and qualified for the state meet in 2025. He is also a four-year member of the track team. Outside of school, he works at the Medina Recreation Center as a referee and scorekeeper for Medina Youth Basketball and has interned with Cunningham and Associates, an engineering, planning and surveying firm in Medina. He volunteers with TOPSoccer, an adaptive soccer program for athletes with special needs.
Nathan plans to attend The Ohio State University to study finance. He is the son of Todd and Judith Fischer.
Brenna is recognized for her strong character, optimism and respect for others. She is known for her attention to detail and for encouraging those around her.
Her coursework includes Advanced Placement, College Credit Plus and honors classes. She earned the Medina High School Academic Distinction Award, summa cum laude, during her sophomore and junior years and magna cum laude her freshman year. Brenna is a member of the National Honor Society, HUDDLE and the Ohio Math League, and serves as president of Key Club.
She is a four-year member of the varsity cross country team. Brenna works at Acme Fresh Market and also babysits and pet-sits. She volunteers as a peer tutor in the Joyce B. Ebner Tutoring Center, assisting students with Algebra I.

Brenna plans to attend The Ohio State University to study accounting. She is the daughter of Scott and Tamera Koski.
