MCBDD seeks nominations for 2026 Stand Out Champion Awards
Program recognizes those supporting people with developmental disabilities
The Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities is accepting nominations for the 2026 Stand Out Champion Awards, which recognize individuals, businesses and community leaders who go above and beyond to support people with developmental disabilities in Medina County.
The awards honor those who have broken down barriers and helped create a more supportive community for all, recognizing passion, leadership and dedication that have made a meaningful impact.
Community members are encouraged to nominate champions in several categories, including:
- Individuals with developmental disabilities who demonstrate outstanding advocacy in the community.
- Businesses that positively impact the lives of people with developmental disabilities.
- Individuals, groups or public figures who make a significant difference through programs, initiatives or advocacy efforts.
Nominations are accepted year-round, but submissions must be received by April 30 to be considered for the 2026 awards. Recipients will be announced and recognized in August.
To submit a nomination or learn more, visit mcbdd.org/stand-out-champion-awards.
