Healing Hearts members gather for March meeting
Widows and widowers group plans April events and potluck
Forty-five members and four guests attended the March meeting of Healing Hearts, as President Bob ended the meeting with the thought for the month: “Mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life,” a quote by Sophia Loren.
Healing Hearts is a group for widows and widowers, usually meeting on the fourth Wednesday of each month. The purpose of the club is to remember the past while learning to have fun again, enjoying outings to restaurants with friends. A calendar of events for April was distributed. John and Susan reported on the dancing lessons for March: the tango.
The next meeting will be a potluck at 1 p.m. at the Brunswick Library on April 22. All widows and widowers are invited to attend and share in the luncheon. Further information is available by contacting westfach@gmail.com.
