Senior conversations to focus on 'Legacy: Sharing the Story'
Save the date for an inspiring community event on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m., as Hospice of the Western Reserve presents Senior Conversations, hosted by the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County at 201 N. Mulberry St., Mount Vernon, in the Multipurpose Room.
Join Hospice for Senior Conversations as the theme and topic will be “Legacy: Sharing the Story.” Learn ways you can preserve your past and share the story of your legacy. Information will also be shared about how individuals facing end-of-life can share their story. Types of projects to create a legacy story will be discussed, as well as how end-of-life doulas provide support for this important need.
The purpose of personal legacy work includes:
• Expressing meaning in your life.
• Inspiring loved ones supporting you.
• Honoring those who have gone before us.
Please call or text (740) 507-0072 to RSVP.
Save the Date and Upcoming Topics: Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. – “Walk a Mile in My Shoes”
Come be part of this meaningful conversation — your story matters.
