KCCC FFA Ag Soils team wins district championship

Team tops field in Fairfield County; Bostic and Ruprecht place second and third individually to advance to state contest Oct. 11

The Knox County Career Center's FFA ag soils team of Ethan Hurlow, left, Charley Beheler, Galen Ruprecht, Weston Bostic and Jaxon Plumly finished first in the district event recently.

Knox County Caree Center’s FFA Ag Soils team finished in first place at the district event, which was held at a farm in Fairfield County. The Ag Soils team consisted of Weston Bostic, Galen Ruprecht, Charley Beheler, Ethan Hurlow, and Jaxon Plumly.

Bostic finished individually in second place overall and Ruprecht finished in third place overall.

The Ag Soils team will compete in the State Soils event on Saturday, Oct. 11.
