East Knox bowlers take two from Fredericktown
Bulldogs claim wins in both matches while boys basketball team earns overtime victory at Northmor
The East Knox bowling teams swept visiting Fredericktown on Dec. 17.
The girls’ team knocked off Fredericktown 1,675-1,484.
Kelsey Jensen led the Bulldogs with a 498 series (214-184). Olivia Huffman fired a 288 (163-125) and Madi Huffman shot 263 (125-138).
The boys’ ran away from the Freddies for a 1,853-1,676 victory.
Logan Clark led the Bulldogs with a 348 series (201-147). Shaymus Lashley fired a 319 (151-168), while Blake Calhoon had a 217 game.
Boys basketball
It took five quarters to determine a winner when East Knox invaded Northmor on Dec. 17. In a back and forth affair, the Knights finally prevailed, winning 57-54 in overtime.
Mason Payne led the Bulldogs with 21 points, all on seven three-pointers. Peyton Hull added 13 points, while Rush Beatty had 10.
