Danville rolls to victory over Millersport
Blue Devils surge early behind hot shooting; East Knox rally falls short against St. Peter
Danville wasted little time in setting the tone against Millersport on Dec. 27. The Blue Devils outscored the Lakers 17-6 in the first quarter and rolled to a 69-55 victory.
Ashton Spaulding sparked the big first quarter for Danville, hitting three 3-pointers. He finished the night with 12 points. Parker Proper made five treys en route to a team-high 26 points. Aidan Mickley added 12 points and Carson Proper had nine.
East Knox boys’ basketball
East Knox’s rally fell just a bit short in a 56-54 loss to Mansfield St. Peter on Dec. 22.
The Bulldogs trailed 20-9 after one quarter, then closed the gap slightly each quarter. But, the Flames were able to hang on for the victory.
Peyton Hull led the Bulldogs with 17 points. Mason Payne added 15, while Kyson Miller had seven and Jaxon Crawford six.
