Loudonville downed West Holmes 53-52 in a nonleague girls basketball game Dec. 20.
Zalina Proper (16 points, three steals), Briar Cline (15 points, seven rebounds, three assists), Cara McMillen (nine points, six rebounds), Lilli Brown (six points, eight rebounds) and Rorie Wilcox (four rebounds) paced WH.
West Holmes picked up a 53-45 win over Dover in an Ohio Cardinal Conference clash Dec. 17.
Cline (21 points), Proper (15 points, seven steals) and Brown (seven points) led the Knights.
Girls bowling
West Holmes rolled to a 1,721-960 victory over Lexington in an OCC battle Dec. 17.
Aubree Young (160-194-354) and Hallie Maurer (135-181-316) paced WH.
Boys bowling
Lexington picked up a 2,144-2,108 win over West Holmes in OCC play Dec. 17.
Cole Rusk (226-236-462), Cameron Young (175-188-363) and Sean Klutz (182-159-341) led the Knights.
Junior varsity girls basketball
West Holmes defeated Loudonville 28-23 in one half of a game Dec. 20.
Brinley Malachin (11 points, three steals) and Chelsie Cooper (11 points) led the Knights.
West Holmes beat Dover 34-23 on Dec. 17.
Mari Patterson (10 points), Malachin (nine points), Cooper (eight points, six steals) and Jocelyn Olney (four rebounds) paced WH.
Freshman girls basketball
Dover beat West Holmes 27-22 on Dec. 17.
Brooke Hustack (six points, three steals), Jocelyn Olney (six points, five steals), Mattie Shankel (six steals) and Bre Willard (four assists) led the Knights.
