West Holmes boys basketball drops OCC game to New Philadelphia

New Philadelphia downed West Holmes 62-47 in Ohio Cardinal Conference boys basketball action Dec. 16.

Nate Sprang (18 points) and Preston Troyer (11) paced WH.

West Holmes picked up a 50-46 win over Madison in OCC play Dec. 12.

Cooper Maltarich (18), Sprang (13) and Keston McKinney (seven) led the Knights.

Girls basketball

West Holmes picked up a 50-43 win over Wooster in an OCC clash Dec. 10.

Zalina Proper (10 points, four assists, five steals), Briar Cline (nine points, nine rebounds), Mati Fair (eight points, eight rebounds, five steals) and Cara McMillen (six points, four rebounds) led the Lady Knights.

Junior varsity boys basketball

New Philadelphia defeated West Holmes 53-42 on Dec. 16.

Jaden Baker (10 points), Eb Al-Sultan (nine) and Cole Troyer (seven) led the Knights.

Madison beat West Holmes 43-31 on Dec. 12.

Troyer (12), Hudson Flanders (nine) and Kolton Taggart (seven) paced WH.

Junior varsity girls basketball

Wooster beat West Holmes 36-17 on Dec. 10.

Zoe Walter (four points), Bre Willard (four points) and Chelsie Cooper (four rebounds, four steals) led WH.
