The Lord is in control

God has this and he has you.

He brings us to places that are new.

Trusting his care and not being afraid,

Because this is the day the Lord has made!

 God removes burdens, thorns and thistles,

Stumbling blocks too, where his children were belittled.

The Lord said, “My children are a diadem to me.”

And the Lord does make his children free.

He leads to places with still waters.

The Lord loves his sons and daughters.

Being dependent upon the Lord,

As God’s children are adored!

Only peace and joyful laughter will be there.

The places of fear will no longer be a care.

The heavy weights will be removed,

Like river rock that’s been smoothed.

God really cares and hears when we pray,

And God will always have the last say!

No matter what is being faced today,

The Lord is in control in every way!
