Strasburg Lions Club Car Show draws nearly 100 entries
The annual Strasburg Lions Club Car Show was held July 19 in the ProVia parking lot on U.S. Route 250 in Strasburg.
“We had 93 vehicles this year,” said Ken Myers, Lions Club treasurer.
Winners in the Strasburg Lions Club Car Show were as follows:
—Best of Show and the Walter Stockert Memorial: Steve and Debbie Pettijohn of Wooster, 1966 Chevelle Super Sport.
—President’s Choice: Don and Cheryl Gillette of Massillon, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible.
—Best Historic (pre-1980): Bill Ftorek of Canton, 1932 Ford Roadster.
—Best Ford: Mark Pesta of Rayland, 2017 Ford Mustang GT.
—Best Chevrolet: Steve Staples of New Philadelphia, 1955 Chevrolet 210 Post.
—Best Corvette: Fred Tedesco of Dover, 1966 Chevrolet Corvette.
—Best Other GM (Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac): Rich and Wanda Shaffer of Dover, 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT.
