Strasburg High School Drama Club to present ‘Little Women’
“Little Women,” written by Louisa May Alcott, adapted by Scott Davidson, produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service Inc. of Englewood, Colorado, will be presented by the Strasburg High/Middle School Drama Club Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 at 7 p.m. in the high school, 140 N. Bodmer Ave. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $5.
“‘Little Women’ follows the March sisters during the American Civil War as the family experiences the trials and joys of growing up while discovering who they are as individuals. The story, written over 150 years ago, shares Louisa May Alcott’s story of love and family that is so relevant for 21st-century audiences,” said Rachel Ripley, theater and drama adviser.
The cast includes Maya Fierbaugh, Aubrey Fry, Riley Fry, Violet Thomas, Andelyn Jones, Madeline Ward, Shelby Kinsey, Madelyn Slone, Mia Gehring, Sadie Thomas, Noelle Paisley, James Fischer, Max Metz, Jayden Shook and Wyatt Hilton.
The crew consists of Myla Wallace and Nicole Bowersock, sound; Maddison Bowers, Destinie Bunton and Amelia Zedaker, lights; Kelsey Patterson and McKenzie Mitchell, stage managers; Hunter McNiff, curtain; Hayden Fernandez, stage drew; and Rachel Ripley, director.
