Save & Serve event raises funds for Love INC
Save & Serve Thrift Shop began 2025 with a strong show of support for the local community, contributing $4,250 to Love INC of Greater Holmes County.
During the store’s Jan. 11 Benefit Day, 100% of store proceeds were donated to Love INC, a faith-based organization that partners with local churches to connect individuals and families in need. To ensure a meaningful impact, Save & Serve Board of Directors voted to donate additional funds as shopping was disrupted by poor driving conditions.
“Love INC is a cornerstone of our community, providing vital assistance to neighbors in need,” said Eric Raber, general manager of Save & Serve. “We’re grateful to our board, volunteers and customers for making it possible to extend this level of support, even under challenging circumstances.”
The Benefit Day program is part of Save & Serve’s ongoing mission to support both local and global causes. Throughout the year, 100% of sales from select days are donated to charities that align with community values.
Save & Serve is a nonprofit thrift store in Holmes County, supporting local and global relief, development, and peace projects of the Mennonite Central Committee.
