Save & Serve Benefit Day helps Ohio Dyslexia Center
Save & Serve Thrift Shop hosted a special Benefit Day on Saturday, June 14, raising $5,117.42 in support of the Ohio Dyslexia Center based in Coshocton.
The funds will help advance the center’s mission to improve literacy through individualized tutoring, adult education programs, and teacher training that promotes early detection and evidence-based instructional methods. The organization plays a critical role in helping both children and adults become confident readers while equipping educators with the tools they need to make a lasting impact.
“As we continue celebrating our 50th anniversary this year, events like this remind us why Save & Serve was started in the first place,” said Eric Raber, general manager. “It’s about coming together as a community to support meaningful causes that are making a real difference in people’s lives.”
Benefit Days are part of Save & Serve’s ongoing commitment to the local community, with 100% of store proceeds on select dates donated to nonprofit organizations working for the common good.
