Rodney Wilson, PE, has been named past president of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers, NSPE-Ohio, at the organization’s 147th annual meeting. As past president, he will lead legislative, educational and service activities for the engineering profession in Ohio. Wilson will also serve as Ohio’s delegate to the National Society of Professional Engineers’ House of Delegates.

Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is retired from both the Ohio Department of Transportation District 11 in New Philadelphia and W.E. Quicksall & Associates. Over his career, he worked in traffic engineering and on maintenance of traffic and construction projects.

A member of NSPE-Ohio, Wilson is a past chair of the group’s Professional Engineers in Government practice division. He and his wife, Candace, live in New Philadelphia and together earned the Engineers Foundation of Ohio President’s Award in 2018.
