Pomerene Hospital names Jacobs as executive director of human resources

Pomerene Hospital announced the appointment of Jenna Jacobs, SHRM-CP, as the new executive director of human resources.

Jacobs joined Pomerene in March 2024 as a human resources generalist and has most recently served as the hospital’s physician and provider recruiter.

During her time at Pomerene, she has demonstrated leadership, strategic insight and a collaborative approach.

As executive director of human resources, Jacobs will guide Pomerene’s HR initiatives with a focus on employee engagement, organizational culture and workforce excellence.

A lifelong resident of Holmes County, Jacobs lives in Millersburg with her husband and two daughters.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Kent State University and a SHRM-CP certification.

She also is pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Ashland University and is expected to graduate in December 2025.

Prior to joining Pomerene, Jacobs worked for several years as a recruiting manager.
