Ohio Star Theater to present original musical in 2025

An original musical, “The Road to Damascus,” written and produced exclusively for Ohio Star Theater, will make its debut at the Sugarcreek theater in May.

On May 14 an original musical will make its debut at Ohio Star Theater in Sugarcreek. “The Road to Damascus” is written and produced exclusively for Ohio Star Theater.

Through music and storytelling, “The Road to Damascus” recounts the biblical story of Saul, a zealous persecutor of Christians who became known as Paul, a devoted follower of Christ and the author of 13 books of the New Testament. Paul’s story unfolds in this narrative of his transformation and redemption. The original script and score, combined with set designs, colorful costumes, live animals and lighting, will bring Paul’s journey to life.

“The Road to Damascus” will open Wednesday, May 14 and closes Nov. 4. Tickets are available online at www.ohiostartheater.com or by calling the box office at 855-344-7547. Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more.
