Ohio Star Theater brings festive holiday lineup
Sugarcreek theater to feature A Christmas Carol: The New Musical and Trans-Siberian Orchestra
The Ohio Star Theater will celebrate the season with a schedule of performances including the return of last year’s holiday musical.
Presented Nov. 29 through Dec. 16, "A Christmas Carol: The New Musical" follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge in a Broadway-style adaptation of Charles Dickens’ tale of holiday redemption.
“It’s genuinely so moving,” said Larissa Carrick, Ohio Star Theater operations manager. “People leave the theater seemingly much more uplifted. You can really tell that the show helps to bolster the Christmas spirit.”
The Prophecy Show will pay tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Dec. 17-18 during three holiday shows featuring lights and lasers. The 2025 season will close with returning favorites Dailey & Vincent Dec. 19.
“One of our most requested acts, these Grammy and Dove Award recipients are always a joy to bring to our stage,” Carrick said. “They will be celebrating the season in their own renowned bluegrass/country style.”
For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.OhioStarTheater.com or call 855-411-2275. The theater is located at 1387 Old Route 39 NE in Sugarcreek.
