LPL announces August programs
The Loudonville Public Library announced a variety of programs for August, offering events for children, moms and adult readers.
The library continues to serve free grab-and-go lunches for children age 0-18 every Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m. through Aug. 8. Meals are available while supplies last and are provided by the Ohio Department of Education and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
Moms looking for a creative break can attend Moms’ Night Out on Monday, Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. The evening will feature crafting and snacks for moms with children at home. While parents participate, children age 2 and older can attend a program with the youth department. Space is limited to 20 adults, and registration is required.
The library’s Adult Book Discussion Group will meet Friday, Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. in the Golden Center. This month’s selection is “The Housemaid” by Freida McFadden. Participants are invited to bring their thoughts and have snacks and conversation with fellow readers.
For more information or to register for programs, call or email the Loudonville Public Library at 419-994-5531 or csandusky@loudonvillelibrary.org. The library is located at 122 E. Main St. in Loudonville.
