Low-cost rabies vaccine clinic set for Aug. 30 at fairgrounds
The Tuscarawas County Health Department will offer a low-cost rabies vaccine clinic for cats and dogs Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds, 259 S. Tuscarawas Ave., Dover. Appointments are required.
The clinic, provided by Bliss Veterinary Services, will begin at 8 a.m. and is $10 per vaccine, cash only. Pet owners may schedule more than one pet per appointment.

Clinic guidelines:
– All cats and dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier.
– Pets between 3 months and 1 year old will receive a one-year rabies certificate.
– Pets over 1 year old with proof of prior rabies vaccination will receive a three-year rabies certificate. Proof can include a rabies vaccination certificate or Tuscarawas County rabies tag.
