On June 28 five Holmes County gardeners will invite attendees to tour their grounds for the Friends of Holmes County OneEighty 2025 Garden Tour.

The 12th biannual garden tour will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, June 29 from 1-5 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person with children age 12 and under free. Tickets may be purchased online at www.one-eighty.org/events/holmes-county-friends-and-neighbor-garden-tour-350/ or in person at any of the following locations: OneEighty in Millersburg, 34-C S. Clay St.; Rodhe’s IGA in Millersburg; Commercial Savings Bank in Walnut Creek; and Killbuck Savings Bank in Killbuck.

The tour showcases a variety of plants, trees, fruits and vegetables, as well as ideas and tips for participants who garden. One garden has 80 varieties of hostas, 90 varieties of day lilies and a tree nursery. Another has both a bee and a sunflower garden.

Day-of tickets also are available at each of the gardens. The tour is self-guided, so participants may start and end anywhere and proceed through the tour at their own pace.

The 2025 gardens are located at 8222 state Route 754, Shreve (parking available along the drive); 2752 Township Road 444, Walnut Creek; 2734 Township Road 444, Walnut Creek; 8960 Township Road 79, Millersburg; and 6565 Township Road 466, Lakeville (lemonade, empanadas and Bolivian street food for purchase at this location).

For the Walnut Creek gardens, park in the alley located beside the house.

Maps of the tour will be provided upon ticket purchase.

All proceeds benefit OneEighty’s services and programs, which may include assisting victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and providing support to individuals seeking addiction services or mental health counseling.

“At OneEighty we provide a continuum of care with a personalized approach that can save and restore lives and help individuals change direction from trauma and addiction,” said Christy VanSickle, OneEighty’s director of development and marketing. “When individuals thrive, the entire community benefits.
