Hiland girls basketball rebounds with win over Western Reserve
Lady Hawks dominate behind balanced scoring after setback to St. Vincent–St. Mary
The Hiland girls basketball team cruised to a 70-25 win over Western Reserve in nonleague action Dec. 27.
Perryn Mishler (19 points, four assists), Macy Mullet (16 points, six assists), Evie Mast (13 points, five rebounds, four steals) and Reagan Zerger (13 points, five rebounds, five assists, four steals) led the Hawks.
St. Vincent-St. Mary defeated Hiland 53-39 in nonconference play Dec. 23.
Mullet (14 points, four assists), Mishler (nine points), Mast (eight points, three steals) and Zerger (five rebounds, three assists) paced the Hawks.
Boys basketball
Hiland rolled to a 67-33 win over Ridgewood in Inter-Valley Conference play Dec. 23.
Alex Miller (16 points) and Caleb Yoder (15) led the Hawks.
