The Heritage Community Center will host an event Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. to share firsthand accounts of what Christians in the Middle East and North Africa are experiencing in war-torn countries — worshipping in the forests, braving bullets and watching churches burn.
John Samara will share stories of what is happening in the trenches today in suffering churches in the Middle East and North Africa. Samara, who grew up in Syria and was imprisoned for the Gospel, now holds teaching seminars, training persecuted pastors. He is the founder of Ananias House Ministries, which equips suffering pastors and churches in the Middle East and North Africa.
Attendees will have the opportunity to take home an autographed copy of his newly published book, "The Victor’s Crown of Glory," coauthored by Dorcas Hoover. The book tells stories of miraculous works in Muslim hearts across the world.
The event will take place at The Heritage Community Center, 3558 U.S. 62, Millersburg. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m.
